Today, I not only found a rubber band that was in the shape of a Mobius Strip, but also on the same excursion came across a milkshake or something, that had spilled on the sidewalk, and then got tracked or dripped, or.. SOMETHING, into the shape of a perfect golden spiral.

I also found someone's graffiti that read "23 angels" and nothing else.

What an odd day.

Bwahahaha... I love it.

I can't wait till my inability to think will be due to drugs and alcohol, instead of mind-numbing work and asshole middle-easterners sending me pissy emails.

What a fuckin' disappointing week.

Work sucks. A lot. My current task is to review all the content on our site, to make sure we meet these stupid fucking archaic rules about what is and isn't ok, so that we can start up our subscription service. It's fucking tedious, and it will probably take a few weeks. 8 hours straight of pretty much clicking a single button or two.

Then there's the fucking drama with my copy of Adobe CS3 I bought. Yeah. Turns out it's fake. So now I gotta go through all THAT drama. The guy who sold it to me is a fucking bitch about it all too. So I've had the wonderful joy of dealing with some motherfucker swearing at me and harassing me via email all week. Awesome.

I had some stuff I was really looking forward to, that kind of made it all more tolerable... but not so much anymore.

Oh well, at least there will be alcohol this weekend.

I've got some numbers for you.

Much of which people probably went to see at the movies.

Is that the future you were expecting?
In one month, twenty thousand people get killed by cars, seventy thousand people die of malaria, four hundred thousand people die of cancer and two million people die of HIV-related consequence.

In the last five minutes, Americans spend two hundred and seventy thousand dollars on dieting products.
In the last month, three hundred billion liters of water were drunk-- but four hundred thousand people died from waterborne disease.
In fact, right now, here in the future, almost one and a half billion people still don't have access to clean water.

El Contesto! is on hold for tonight, due to super-awesome water-heater emergency (long story short, there was a lot of flooding, there were firemen here, and now we need a new one)

I'll have to do a double-day this weekend to make up.

With this one, I was trying a bit of underwater stuff, including a few new custom brushes made for the task. I'm not totally happy with how it turned out though... I don't think I really got the underwater feel. I think I'll start moving away from landscapes for the time being soon.
